The Main Menu of the game consists of many different functions and has been through a lot of changes. Here is the list of all of the functions.
| Start | The start button consists of Archives, Profile, your Avatar, the Plugin Library and the Gallery. This is used to play maps by you or others. You can also share, create or load a backup, or delete it by pressing the option button on the right side of the map. |
| Arcade | (called Multiplayer in previous versions) The Arcade button allows you to play other games with other people (this is commonly referred to as "rooms"), and you can also check other room genres like Fight, Parkour, Puzzle, etc. |
| Creation | (called Gallery in previous versions) The Creation Gallery is full of maps and videos made by other people around the globe, this can also vary very rarely can make you famous and win exclusive rewards! |
| Garden | (called Home in previous versions) The Home garden is where you take care of Crops in Farm and Livestocks in Ranch, when it's done, you can harvest them, and also visit other people's Home. This is mostly useful for getting more max archives, unlock more items, and buy other items. It is recommended you check it regularly. (*The Garden is now navigated in the right corner) |
| *Fruit* Garden | The Garden is where you take care of the plant, harvest fruits, and help other people. This is mostly useful for getting more max archives, unlock more items, and buy other items. It is recommended you check it regularly. |
| Friends | This is where you get to stay connected to other people, you can also make groups, and if your feeling alone, you can always talk to Mini Captain! (you can only talk about game issues) |
| Shop | Here you can buy different items, skins, clothes, mounts, and currencies. |
| Events | Here you can check different events like contests, and more. There are two types, the one at the top and the one at the bottom. The top allows you to check your daily login, news etc. The bottom one sends you to a sub-website where you can see the ongoing contests. |
| Here you can receive news and gifts from the Game developers: Mini Beans, Mount Shards, etc. These are mostly from the events. | |
| Settings | Here you can set different options, just for your own personal experience. |
| (called Like in previous versions) A minor addition in the PC version, this sends you to their Facebook page. | |
| Profile | This allows you to check on your profile status, you can tell what you are feeling, change your Avatar Profile, check your current popularity, maps, comments, badges, and art. This has almost everything for a proper fancy account. |
| Mini Beans | A common currency, can obtain them in many different ways. Used to buy some items. |
| Mini Coins | A mostly premium currency that requires paying with real money to get it. Used to buy a lot of items like Skins, DIY Skins,... |
| News | Here you can check what's been recently added without going to the main page of the game and sometimes display prize notification of Star Fruits. Click the speaker button to read the news. Though, it will disappear after a period of time of being announced. |

- The menu is one of the things that has been changed before a few times. Especially, the 0.35.10 version revamped the UI to the modern-styled UI that we known today. Some of the changes include:
- The original user interface from near the beginning until v0.35.10
- The new user interface (1) from 0.35.10 to 0.47.5
- The new user interface (2) from 0.47.5 to 0.51.0
- The new user interface (3) in 0.51.0
- The new user interface (4) in 0.52.0 to 0.53.10
- The new user interface (3*) in 0.53.10 (which is nearly the same as the 0.51.0 with a slight change in the Multiplayer thumbnail: Xiaolou wearing her Flower Dewie costume instead of her original costume)

- When the new version of the menu was available, this caused where the game wouldn't process properly, causing the player to be stuck on the loading screen. There were a lot of early complaints, causing a patch on the update.
- The main menu theme consists of four total tracks: (All themes were named by TuanDat05042008 and some are edited by LunaKitsaMW)
- The Original (also called Main Theme 1 in MW's channel) can be listened to in Mini World's official Youtube channel at here), which is from Version 0.20.0 to 0.45.0 and also in 0.52.0.
- The Space/Horas Theme (also called Main Theme 2 (Horas) in MW's channel), which is available in the update where Horas is introduced and can be listened to in Mini World's official YouTube channel at here. It is also the theme between 0.47.1 to 0.50.0, and also in 0.53.0.
+ This is also the theme playing in the newest version (0.54.2). - The Wild Men/Classic Theme, which is avaliable from the oldest version to 0.20.0 and also returns in 0.46.0.
- The Rainforest, which is available only in 0.51.0 when the Rainforest update comes out.
- The menu have multiple color theme to choose from (you can change it via the Settings), including Misra Green, Mecha Yellow, Mermale Blue, and Bunny Pink, which requires a restart of the game itself. But starting from v0.54, the theme can't not be changed anymore and are now defaults to a Mermale Blue-styled menu.
- The Gallery and the Garden (*Home from the 0.52.0) are the only ones that frequently gets their thumbnail changed per update, or in recent updates, they can be changed often, even there isn't any new version yet.
- The Mini Coins are the only currency that needs microtransactions to purchase it.
- If there is something new, a red dot will appear on an icon. This does not affect some functions. (ie. Start, Multiplayer, Like, Shop, Settings, Mini Coins, Mini Beans and Gallery)
- The events tab at the top is one of the ways to get exclusive items and in very rare cases, permanent skins.
- The login screen is the only thing that doesn't get changed since the 0.19.0 version, until some recent versions, including:
- The original login screen until v0.47.0
- The new login screen (1) in v0.47.5
- The new login screen (2) from v0.48.0 to 0.51.0
- The new login screen (3) in v0.51.0
- The new login screen (3*) from v0.52.0 to 0.54.0 (similar to v0.51.0 but with a small change)
- The new login screen (4*) from v0.54.0 onwards (with a new game logo)

- There was a glitch where you can have a map currently playing, while you were at the Main Menu. Loading another world (singleplayer or multiplayer) will cause this to crash.
- There is a bug where if you leave while the music is still playing, it will still play, overlapping the Main Menu's theme. This is only recent in the new update.
